Our Marrakech visit begins in the tourist center of the city of Marrakech, the Jemaa El Fna square. Here gather snake charmers, monkey trainers, henna tattoo artists, water carriers, this is the essential place in Marrakech, to do day and night, the atmosphere changes completely depending on the time of day. You will admire the secret garden, the enchantment of the Medina, a few steps from the Jemaa el Fna square, it is a palace from the time of the Saadian dynasty with gardens, fountains. Continue our visit of Marrakech by the Medersa Ben Youssef which is a Koranic school that is attached to the mosque and cannot be visited. Then continue to the Museum of Marrakech, a must, which is an old palace where the former minister of defense of the sultan resided. Finally the house of photography, in the heart of the Medina, offers exhibitions every 6 months on different themes but always related to photography. The photo collection dates from the 1870s to the 1950s. Then, we will join the Jemaa el Fna square through the souk. Open your eyes because this one of the best places to visit in the world.

On the Jemaa el Fna square, we take the height by reserving a place on the terrace in the surrounding restaurants where we will attend the spectacle offered by this square where this unique atmosphere reigns. After enjoying a drink on the square we will head to the Koutoubia, visit from the outside then head towards the Bab Agnaou gate, one of the gates, dating from the 12th century, which pierces the ramparts of the Medina. Visit the Saadian tombs which are located south in the Kasbah quarter. The Saadian tombs house the kings and their families. A few steps from the Saadian Tombs, we will visit El-Badi Palace. This palace was built at the end of the 16th century by the Saadian sultan Ahmed al-Mansur DhahbĂ® to celebrate the victory of 1578 over the Portuguese army. The richest materials were used to decorate the 360 rooms of this palace (gold, turquoise, crystal, etc.). Today, all that remains is an esplanade dug into gardens, with orange trees and high walls.

In continuity, not far we will explore the Bahia Palace, which is the former residence of the vizier Ba Ahmed. It is one of the most beautiful and largest palaces in Marrakech that can be visited. At the end of our Marrakech city tour, we will visit the Majorelle gardens which are a large park belonging to Yves Saint Laurent and who completely renovated it. This place is relaxing and quiet. The best time to get good photos. Adjoining the garden is the Yves Saint Laurent museum which retraces the collections of the famous old staff. At the end of our Guided Marrakech city tour, we have a short walk around the ramparts. 12th-century fortifications were built by the Almoravids to protect the Medina which was completely razed by the Almohades.
